In the midst of finishing work on their upcoming album, London-based electronic band Three Laws put together a beautiful cinematic video for their single, Siren Song.
The beautifully visual video was directed by Calum Macdiarmid, who took the dark overtones of the song, and brought the narrative to life. Although Macdiarmid was the director behind the video, Three Laws members Adam and Louise were very involved in the filmmaking.
The film, which is based in a futuristic Tokyo, was all shot in Central London and features French actress and model, Sonny Sun. The video shows strength both audibly and visually, as it tells a beautiful but dark story of lust, abuse and obsession in under five minutes. The beautiful aesthetics of the video portray just how dark lust and abuse can be.
So many factors contribute to the beauty of the film. Between Sun’s strong acting skills, the dedication and involvement of Louise and Adam, and the visual eye of Macdiarmid, it is no surprise that the video looks as amazing as it does.
Currently, Three Laws is preparing for the release of their upcoming album as well as getting ready to bring it to a live audience. The duo has enlisted a band, including a pianist, drummer and cellist as they prepare for their debut show.
