UK-based band CC Smugglers have been on top of their game as of late. Just last year, the band released their highly successful single, Rhythm, which made BBC Radio 2’s playlist along with live sessions on the station and BBC 6 Music. They have also had great success on the road, playing a number of sold-out headline shows across the UK and Europe, as well as festival appearances. The latest feat is their newest single, Dirty Money, which is currently available to stream and download worldwide. Lead vocalist and songwriter Richie Prynne describes the song in his own words, “The song is about remembering that even though in today’s consumer-driven world, it’s easy to think that having enough money will make you happy. Happiness is a state of mind, not a collection of possessions or a certain number in your bank account.”
