After pictures began to circulate the internet of First Daughter Tiffany Trump being shunned at New York Fashion Week, “The View” host Whoopi Goldberg decided to step in and had some words for Tiffany Trump.
“Nobody wants to sit next to Tiffany Trump at Philip Plein, so they moved and the seats by her are empty,” is what a tweet by former Wall Street Journal journalist Christina Binkley read. This tweet from Binkley wasn’t the only comment made about the Trump daughter, a number of other journalists and editors who were in attendance made comments about the seating arrangement as well.
After word of the seating situation got out, Whoopi Goldberg decided to make a statement about the situation during an airing of “The View”. ” You know what, Tiffany, I’m supposed to go to a couple more shows. I don’t know what’s going to happen, but I’m coming to sit with you,” Goldberg then added, “Because nobody’s talking politics. You’re looking at fashion. She doesn’t want to talk about her dad. She’s looking at the fashion.”
Trump then followed up with a message of her own to Goldberg in a tweet:
We’re interested to see if the pair become fashion week buddies.
